The Detroit Regional Economic Partnership specializes in economic diversification. By working to match the needs of businesses in the Detroit Region, and filling the gaps of services not being offered by other entities, the Partnership is able to help businesses diversify. The Regional Business Development (RBD) program works with companies in the Detroit Region to build a strategy towards diversification. Targeting the areas of geographic, market and industry diversification, RBD uncovers opportunites and acts as the conduit to bring those opportunities to companies in the region. Through the Partnership's Open Innovation initiative, the RBD program is connecting companies that seek out innovation to the companies that are creating it. This effort is focused on creating long-term sustainable economic development through market driven factors. Through both efforts, the Partnership calls on companies in the Detroit Region and from around the world that represent opportunities for connection. |
