Education

•Civic and Business Leader Engagement Project is a process created by the Chamber for increasing the number of business and civic organization partnering with schools in the Skillman Foundations "Good Schools network.” Outreach efforts include any and all corporate citizenship opportunities that may impact or sustain quality education in Detroit. The goal is to benchmark partnership best practices, provide a support network for business interested in partnering and create a network of partners to recruit new partners for new schools.

Talent Retention: Internships/Co-Ops

•Connect with the Chamber to hire college interns and/or co-op students and help in promoting internships throughout the region to retain more of our Michigan college graduates in the Detroit region.

Fusion Detroit: Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs

•Fusion is a group dedicated to enriching the community and developing young professionals into future leaders. By increasing the quality of life in Metro Detroit, Fusion builds relationships, increases political and philanthropic activity and cultivates diverse leaders, professionals and entrepreneurs.
